FILM DISCUSSION
The movie gets started really quickly with our leads being taken by our villain and told they are part of some killing game but that's basically all we know
What follows is a lot of chase scenes
And a lot of explosions
with some cheesy computer graphics in between
And tons of unprompted sex scenes
and more explosions
and a fun original song
and basically no real plot or characters or whatever. Just enjoy the ride
The director is listed on IMDB as the apron wearing owner of this bar. This is all we could find in the scenes and we don't think this is Sidaris
Awards Talk: None to speak of this time
TRUE CRIME & POP CULTURE
This week we don't have any true crime to talk about so we go to TV
We found an episode of Love Connection that possibly aired on this date?
And if you want to learn more about Andy Sidaris, here are a couple articles
RANKINGS & RATINGS
Nikki 1-5 star scale - 2 out of 5
Jon 0-4 star scale - 1 out of 4
Would you watch it again? - Our only other experience with Andy Sidaris so far has been Hard Ticket to Hawaii which is better. This was a fun time and it made us laugh, but we'd rather try out others in the series because this felt a bit weaker than others might be. However, this would be fun to watch with a crowd at a midnight movie screening
If you want to watch Do or Die, as of this recording in December 2023, it’s available on Tubi, Full Moon, VHS, DVD. Check your local listings.
